SOFT FOCUS is usually a photography term where a special lens or technique is used to reduce the harshness of outlines and details. Light is diffused at different points giving a softer look.

The name “Soft Focus Fine Art” was chosen because I’m striving through my paintings to help the viewer turn away from the harshness and “sharp edges” of our world, focusing instead on the amazing beauty of creation, the marvel of color, the order of a composition. My hope is to provide a sense of calm, peace, rest, and safety as we contemplate the wonders of our world and its masterful Designer.
